I got the crazy idea for this Sparta Challenges thing because I was seeing so many silly physical challenges on Pinterest. Who does that? I thought. That's impossible! Sydnii said, Really? How so? And so I set out to prove that the 0 to 5 minute planking challenge was ridiculous, and we were off.

My general level of activity is probably considered low, though I'm not a couch potato. I do Wii Fit yoga 3 times a week (usually), plus some other activity on there, for a total of 15-20 minutes. I walk about 20 minutes a day at work, as I walk to and from my car across campus. I also take the stairs twice a day -- three floors, plus the one floor in the parking garage. So, no, this isn't extraordinary physical activity...but every little bit helps, right?

I do hope to improve my physical fitness because even though the physical challenges may be ridiculous or impossible, I plan on giving my honest best effort to complete them, and that will have some kind of advantage for my body.
